If I remember correctly they didn’t so much have a fallout, but rather Aspar said at some point that he had enough of Faubel’s indecisiveness about where to go the next season and didn’t extend his contract. Plus, there was a world champion ready to take his place without demanding more (although he did get an RSA after all).

And he definitely has!

I thought they had a pretty big fall out at the end of last year, but if they’re still on friendly terms, Hector was probably looking for a bike that had factory support and the Spanish press probably over exaggerated and scandalised everything!

Aspar’s got some pretty big shoes to fill next year!
