After two of three scheduled test days the Aspar MotoGP Team and rider Hector Barbera finished the test early due to persistent bad weather and more rain predicted for the next days. Nontheless the Valencian rider was happy with the work done and is looking forward to next season.

Aprilia has officially confirmed that it has abandoned its Moto2 project.
A statement by the Piaggio Group – owners of Aprilia – confirmed that the famous Italian constructor will not have a factory presence in the new Moto2 class, which replaces the 250cc World Championship from next season, or provide machinery for private teams to race [...]
It seems that Aprilia is about to withdraw from the Moto2 chassis project and instead focus on their current WSBK and a possible future MotoGP effort.
