The FIM published the provisional entry list for the new Moto2 class yesterday, including the approved number of riders per team. If things stay like this there will be 23 teams with 37 riders next year, the official list will only be published in December.
There are 3 teams missing on the list which where initially supposed to start next year. While Kenny Roberts and Pramac Racing pulled their initial application, the Balatonring Racing team won’t be starting next year either. This means that the Aspar Team will field two bikes less in the small classes than it did this year, with 2 instead of 3 riders in 125cc, 2 Mapfre riders in Moto2 and no Balatonring Team.
